Q: When will my vehicle be picked up?
A: On average, it will take one to seven business days after your payment has been received to locate a carrier and get your vehicle picked up.
Q: When will my vehicle be delivered?
A: Based on mileage, once your vehicle has been picked up, it will be delivered within anywhere from three to five business days.
Q: Is your service door to door?
A: Yes. We provide door-to-door service, allowing our carriers to get as close to each physical address as possible.
These are general guidelines and movement of your vehicle will vary. It is always best to plan ahead and order transportation of your vehicle in advance. This way proper planning can take place to minimize the time your vehicle is in our hands.
Q: When do I pay for my service?
A: We must receive your payment before your vehicle ships. You can pay via credit card, debit card or check. All payments are fully refundable up until the vehicle ships.
Q: How do I handle the title transfer with the vehicle's seller?
A: We highly recommend that the seller sends you the title via overnight mail. The title should not be left in the vehicle and our drivers are not responsible for handling any paperwork.
Q: Is my vehicle insured during transport?
A: Yes, during transport your vehicle is fully insured with no deductible. Damages caused by our drivers and trucks are covered, but we do not cover damages caused by nature.
Q: Can I pack personal belongings in my vehicle for transport?
A: We advise you not to, as personal items are not insured if they are damaged or reported missing.
Q: Does someone have to be present for pick-up and delivery of a vehicle?
A: Yes, there must be someone present to accept the vehicle, provide keys and sign an inspection report. This person can be anyone over the age of 18.
Q: Can I track my shipment progress online?
A: No, at this time we do not have tracking capabilities. However, if you have any questions or concerns after your vehicle has shipped, contact our customer service department at 866-470-0036 and select option 2.
Q: Are there any size and weight restrictions?
A: If your vehicle is low to the ground, notify United Road prior to vehicle pick-up so we can make sure that the vehicle can be loaded onto the truck without causing any damage.
Q: How do I get a shipping quote for my vehicle?
A: You can either fill out our form located under the "Ship a Car" tab or call us at 866-470-0036 with your information.
Q: Is Vehicle Transport USA licensed to ship vehicles?
A: Yes. At Vehicle Transport USA, we are licensed through the Department of Transportation and have insurance to cover each car that is shipped with any of our transport trucks.
